A

Think of the course structure in terms of your computer My Documents folder system. Top level folders have other folders inside them; these subfolders might also contain other folders; eventually you reach a level which shows actual documents.

B

Use PIM>My Course>Tutor>Content>Structure>Files>File (or Folder)

C

This powers up a Java applet which lets you create a Chapter structure and also (in Expert Mode) lets you drag files across to the VLE from your documents store elsewhere.

D

You build up obvious folders (Chapters? / Sections?) by highlighting the course name and clicking New. - then rename from the default label Title goes here. These are marked by black triangles - they point right when the folder is closed; they point down when the folder is open. Click to open all Chapters at once.

E

Into each Chapter you add specific content, prepared off-line and loaded as a zip folder into the Files Store area for the course. Click here for details.

F

You could also add a Quiz Assessment or set a Forum discussion time / chat room activity as an integral part of the course.
