A

The Model Answer (MA) quiz lets you list key words you would expect in a good answer and give each word a mark. When students complete and submit their answer, the system checks and awards the mark you have specified if it finds a key word. Key words must be perfectly spelled - and a mark is awarded only once per key word.

B

First you need to create the instructions using: PIM>MyCourse>Tutor>Content>Structure> + Item>Assessments>Model Answer>Add Assessment . Then you specify how many key words there will be.

C

Then you type the quiz details:

D

Type the quiz label/title into the Question box. Use the Answer box to give your instructions: eg Type out the words for Humpty Dumpty

E

If you want to include formatting (such as bold text) then leave the default HTML format showing. If you choose the alternative (Text) no formatting occurs, even if you include html codes. This might be useful if you were setting a quiz about html codes for example.

F

You must specify each key word and its score separately.
